You also checked with your carrier like it said in the KB article?
What folders do you have on the main screen? Have an Instant Messaging folder with any of your themes?

The only thing I can think of to do is to delete the IM service book and get it resent to your device. If you into Options | Advanced Options | Service book, find the one called Desktop[BBIM] and delete it.
Afterwards you can get it resent back to your device by:

Lets do this: OPTIONS - ADVANCED OPTIONS-HOST ROUTING TABLES click to enter and press menu key, select register now, You will get a verification email.
Let the device reboot 1-3 min, Then message somebody But let us know first, OK? Thanks

I knew they had an OTA but you have to be lower the OS 4.2 to load it. The say anything newer is already on your device, and needs to be installed through the DM.
Is that how we're goanna go?
By the way JM, I don't have and applications folder either Verizon!!
