Blackberry curve 8520 app error 523

BlackBerry Curve 8520 showing me this "APP Error 523 - Reset "it shows to me and it dosen't open,when i press Reset phone restarted but it shows to me the same thing. Later I connected data cable 8520 with blackberry desktop software
And delete all 3rd party apps with "loder" but I can't solve this problem. Its now show this this massage " app error 523" now my bb is off mode now how can I relode new OS in off mode. What can do??? :smileysad:

Sorry to hear about your issue ! Now try those steps as see if your device back to normal:

1) Make sure you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed. BlackBerry desktop software

2) On your PC, go to Start > Run and copy and paste the following line exactly (meaning with the quotation marks):

"c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader\loader.exe" /nojvm

3) The Application Loader Wizard will appear -- click "Next."


4) In the "Connection:" drop-down menu, you should see "USB-PIN: UNKNOWN". Click the "Next" button.


5) You should then see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Hit Next and Finish and you are well on your way to getting your Blackberry back to life. Congrats! Just don't disconnect anything and let the lengthy process finish completely.

NOTE: If you do not see a list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead see the message "The Blackberry Desktop Software does not have Blackberry Device Software for the device that you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator," then you must download Blackberry's Operating System for your carrier and device.  BlackBerry Software Download Site

 

Just select the appropriate carrier and network type, select your Blackberry model from the list and download the latest version. Install this download and follow the above steps again and you should be on the right path.

Hey!

Had the same problem but what you do is to kep removing battery and putting it in same to the usb cable till you get the usb-unknown. Another thing, if it keeps reconnecting at the JVM, keep pressing the retry button without removing the usb cable and hopefully it will be connected..mine worked thanks to information gathered from this forum

when i'm doing this, my BB Pin is showing nothing else, what should i do ?

hi,

keep removing the usb cable and putting back until you are able to get the information. Remember immediately the unknown USB comes up you should click next (Immediately)

I would like to ask a couple of questions:

 

1) Does this solution work on Bold 9700?

 

2) If answer to Q1 is "yes", does this solution preserves the data inside the phone?

 

3) If answer to Q1 is "no", is it possible that you could direct me to a solution for Bold 9700 that preserves data inside the phone?
