My data port was broken a month ago on my 8330.

I was able to get my phone connected via Bluetooth to the Blackberry Desktop Manager on Windows 7 Pro, but after starting the backup function twice the bluetooth would disconnect and the backup would stop. I am unsure on how to make sure the connection stays connected.

Any advice?

If I backup messages to a file

and then backup memos to a file

and then backup tasks to a file

and then backup calendar to a file

and then iteratively the rest of the device,

will a restore of the messages file,

and then the memo file,

and then the tasks file,

and then the calendar file,

iteratively for the rest of the files actually restore all my data?
