Hi Guys .

I am very new to this community and not much tech savvy so my question might sound stupid. I have BB curve 8520. and  m nt able to receive data from any mobiles or pc via bluetooth. The mobiles & system can be paired with my BB and I am able to transfer the data but I am not able to receive the data. The error Message is 'BLUETOOTH CONNECTION FAILED'

Also When I click on Menu--Option--Phone options my cell hangs. It is really irritating for a newbie like me.

Any help/suggestion is really appreciated..

Upon pairing and sending the content from other phone follow the below on your phone -

On the recipient's BlackBerry smartphone

1. On the Home screen of the smartphone, select Media.
2. Select a media type (Music, Video, Ring Tones, or Pictures).
3. Press the Menu button and select Receive using Bluetooth. The File Transfer dialog box appears, followed by a prompt to Save or Cancel the file.
4. Select Save to save the file to the current location, or select the folder icon to save the file in a different location.

Thanks. It worked and now this issue is resolved..
Any idea why my phone hangs when I click on Menu--Option--Phone options..??

Try this -

When you device is POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery. This make a reboot to your device which resolves minor issues with the BlackBerry device.

If there is any minor issue then it will be resolved. If not, then you can try backing up device data and having a security wipe.

This is not working. I even rebooted the cell but still the problem persists The moment I click on Phone Options under 'Options'  And I can't use it until I restart  the phone.

Can you please suggest what should I do??
