We I try to used the camera it gave me a error mesaje "Could not start the camera. Close other applications and try openning the camera again"

Have you tried removing the battery and rebooting the phone?  This might help.

I have this EXACT problem with my 8310 Curve too! I've tried removing the battery and rebooting too, but it still does it!

Try pressing the ALT + CAP+ DEL keys at the same time and holding them. This will perform a reset on the device. See if that works.

Hmm, I think its a hardware issue then. Check with your carrier to see what they can do for ya.

I hope you get good service from your carrier.   I'm with Verizon, and my bb is 1 month and 10 days old and they won't honor the warranty.  Want to send me a refurbished model.  I'd rather not have a camera than to take on a refurbished. 
So much for customer service.
