My blackberry curve gets a battery drain as soon as it powers up.
I know the batterys full becuase i've charged it in another phone and its full battery.
Its an immediate battery drain and the phone gets really hot?
Ive had a read around and people have said to get it replaced but my 1 year warranty has expired...
What to do now....
Please help ![]()

an app of some sort is causing the drain. Its also possible that the device is too but its hard to tell. You can take it to a store for an second opinion or go here for some tips to extend your battery.

if the phone is stuck, try doing a battery pull

I understand, sorry! Can you take it to the store? I'm not sure what the issue is since you've already done the software reload.

The store can at least tell you whats wrong with it and provide options on getting it fixed or repaired.
You can try this, but if it doesn't work, taking it to the store is the only option.
force the detection of the BlackBerry smartphone using Application Loader
