Hi

Can someone please help me, my blackberry curve 8900 call log only displays missed calls when i press the green button on the handset. I have went to all the menu's and can get it to show all dialed and recieved calls.

When i try to view them in the 'view folder - Phone call logs' option i get an error message saying - uncaught exception:java.lang.NullPointerException

Hopefully Someone can help me cause i dont really want to send it back

Greetings, and welcome to the BlackBerry.com Support Forums.

With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

Try it again with a new call to determine if it logs.

Hi 

I Have tried the reset that you suggested and the error still pops up when it boots back up but some dialed contacts are now in my call log but it still isnt logging dialed and recieved calls

Any more suggestions

You could have a problem in the OS.

Do you want to reload the OS on your device?

Who is your carrier?

What is the  current OS (look at Options > Abou, third line down beginning with "4.xxxx"

Im with O2

the version is v4.6.1.101

How would i reload the operating system and what effects would it have

The latest verison of that OS is 4.6.1.206, see the difference?

Do a complete backup first, using your Desktop Manager.

PLEASE! i have desperately been trying to find a way to solv this exact problem. can anyone make any other sugestions??
