I have successfully synchronized my Blackberry 8330 with Outlook (2002 SP3) using the desktop manager (4.3.0.17).  I imported a database of 2700 names, but I have two annoying problems: 1) incoming calls do not display the name of the caller, even though that individual is in the imported data base (only the number is displayed); and 2) many of my contacts have extensions (to identify cell phones or other information) and my phone always dials those extension (can I disable extension diailing?).  Can anyone give me a fix on the display or extension dialing issue?

1. Go to your Call Log > Options > Smart Dialing and set your area code and country code there.

2. There is not a disable. Your best bet is, to over time, edit your Outlook data to remove the notations and place the numbers where they belong (such as in a mobile phone field). Extensions that should be dialed, preceed with an 'x'

or edit in your BB to add a PAUSE or WAIT from the phone field edit menu.
