Can't access Blackberry ID?

I forgot my password for my Blackberry ID, so I can't access my account and download apps.

When I try and reset the passsword, I get no emails. I think this is because I used a faulty email address by accident.

Is there anyway I can create a new Blackberry ID and Password?

Welcome to the Community

 

If you can't access the Email account where the reset password has been sent then you had to create a new BlackBerry ID .Have a look :

 

KB26694 : How to change the BlackBerry ID on a BlackBerry PlayBook tablet or BlackBerry smartphone.

 

Please try it and let us know.

Pls, am asked to verify my blackberry I'd, and if I supply my details iit replys that it is wrong and if I answer the question to recover my password, it still says wrong and all my details are correct. Some one help me

Have you tried to reset your BlackBerry ID password yet ?

 

First confirm your BlackBerry ID Username , after confirming you can reset your BlackBerry ID password. Please read those KB Article for help : 

 

  • KB28684  : How to confirm a BlackBerry ID username
  • KB26361  : How to change or reset a BlackBerry ID password.

The problem is that it lkeeps telling me wrong password and even wrong answer to my question which suppose to aid me recover my password. I can't download anything or chat on bbm.

Hi there ,

 

You have You have to remember either your BBID password or the security question , otherwise you are struck !

You can try calling your Carrier Celtel if they can help you in resetting your BlackBerry ID password Or login to your email account that you used for BlackBerry ID , search your Inbox and find the original email which was send for BlackBerry ID confirmation , you can delete your BlackBerry ID from there which will allow you to use the same email or username for your BlackBerry ID .

If all above fails then as last option you have to Create a new BlackBerry ID , for help refer to this Knowledge Base Article :

KB26694 : How to change the BlackBerry ID on a BlackBerry PlayBook tablet or BlackBerry smartphone

 

 

Please note , while doing so you'll loose access to all paid apps that you bought from BlackBerry world.

Hi there,

 

If you follow the above Knowledge base article it will disassociate any existing BlackBerry ID from that device . Or in simple terms .. You have to perform a security wipe on your BlackBerry. After a wipe you'll be able to use a new BlackBerry ID on your device. 

 

But do it after a complete device backup or else you'll loose your device data , For backup refer to this article :
