you can give anyone with a BB your PIN number and they can add it manually . pin can be located at Options- status
only way to add to BBmess is by email or PIN... PIN is better and if PIN dont work, email wont either.
try a backup of your device.. do a security wipe (options- secuirty options- general- menu button - wipe handheld)
then try adding again (before you restore your data)

For the one contact you do have via PIN, did you add them or did they add you? How was this accomplished? If it was via an e-mail, did you have the option to ACCEPT or DECLINE?
Thanks

For the one with the Pin I sent it to him via e/mail and he accepted. He then replied and i accepted.
the reuest I get from another friend via e/mail looks like this:

.....just as I was about to attempt the security wipe (which I was reluctant to do because it said that my "application data will be lost, message service and other services will be turned off") I checked my BBMess again and low and dehold my husband is now on my list!
A few days ago I had deleted his information and readded it with his PIN and sent him an inviation. He received it and again there was no option to click on "ACCEPT" or "DELETE" so he humously replied "Okay I accept you". I don't think this is a valid "acceptance" is it? Nothing happened for a few days. However, now he's on my list. I don't know how this happened. Does anyone else?![]()
