I just got the 8330 yesterday and can't locate the browser icon.

I would guess it is some simple thing but it has me stumped.

Hi! Can you please confirm that you've subscribed for BlackBerry data plan?  For your information having an unlimited data plan will not entitle you use browser in BlackBerry device. For browsing in BlackBerry device your SIM card need to have special APN blackberry.net.

If you already have BlackBerry data plan then

go to Options -> Advanced Options -> Host Routing Table -> click Menu button -> select Register Now

or 

Click Alt button and click Menu button -> select Show All. Look for the Internet Browser icon there.

Thanks. Good old Sprint did not have the correct data package on my phone. The kid who sold it to me was too involved talking to the girl in line behind me. All is well.
