My blackberry has stopped receiving my gmail emails. My carrier is T-Mobile. I have done this resend Service Books thing a few times, but not sure what it is?? I resend the Service Books but then what? I'm unclear as to the SB process.
I have also done numerous battery pulls, no luck.
I have turned off my connections, the turned them on, turned the phone all the way off for a few hours then on, still nothing.
Can anyone help?
Thanks!

Have you actually pulled the battery on the BB and rebooted? Leave it powered on, and remove it to reboot.
See if your service books get "installed" and your mail works.

As I said in my post, I have done numerous battery pulls yes. They're not working. I think I know what you mean now about the Service Books. When I reboot after pulling the battery, I see a diaglogue box sort of thing that says it's verifying settings, etc etc. That must be the new Service Bokos installing?
Anyhow, still not working and I'm not receiving any emails at all.

1. Service Books. Go to Options > Advanced > Service Books on your BB. Scroll through and find the two gmail service books, one labeled [CIMIME] and one [CICAL]. Hover over and press Menu > Delete on both.
Then remove your battery and reboot the BB.
Go to Options > Advanced > HRT > press Menu > Register. You should pretty quickly get a registration message in your inbox.
Do you.. how goes it?

I'll work on the battery tips to see if they help. I did the steps and deleted the service books actually for all 3 of my linked email accounts since I'm not rec'g any emails for any of them. I rebooted, re-registered and got the confirmation message. Now, however, all 3 of my email accounts are not listed in the phone anymore.
What next??
Thanks!

Finally a solution that worked!! T-Mobile and Customer Care unfortunately were not able to assist, but Research in Motion(RIM) the manufacturer of my phone solved the email problem! Apparently, the older version of facebook causes conflicts with reception of emails. You need to go into your Options, Advanced Options, then Applications, then choose Facebook. Click the menu key, and then select modules, then scroll all the way down your list until you see "net_rim_bb_facebook". Beside it you will see the version number. You need to have version 1.2.0.35
If you have an earlier version, delete Facebook. When you delete it you will be prompted to restart your phone. When you restart, the facebook icon will be on your phone's "desktop." Click on it, and it will take you to the website so you can download the new version.
