Hi someone please help. I have a keypad lock on my blackberry. I got a blackberry play book today and downloaded the blackberry bridge to sync the 2 devices. All was going well till I had to unlock my mobile it asked to my type blackberry 1st then type my password so I tired but it keeps saying wrong. So confused. I've tried my blackberry I'D password, and it's still wrong, I'm on my last attempt.

Sorry, there's no security password reset or backdoor, you either know your password or you don't.
Only after five wrong password entries will it ask you type 'blackberry'.
You never had to enter a password to use the BlackBerry in the past?

I have always had a keypad lock on my phone I use it everyday so I know my password off by heart. It only started to go wrong when I went on the playbook and tired to access my phone files from there, it said for security reasons I had to unlock my phone, it's from then it wouldn't accept my password.

Ok, hold up a sec.
Are you know entering your handheld phone password ON the PlayBook, on the full PlayBook keyboard?
Often users who have multiple numerals in their password will only press the ALT key for the first numeral and not those following, so for instance, if your password were "1234", you might have been pressing "Alt 1234" on the device, which makes the actual password to be "1ers".
Does that make sense? Does it sound familar to your usage?
So check the way you enter your password on the device... do you think you are entering multiple numbers but actually are not?

ON the PlayBook, you weren't given a place to enter the password?
