Cannot connect phone to computer

I have tried using my USB wire to connect my Blackberry Curve 9320 to the computer. It has worked i the past but now it just charges the phone. I want to put a song on my phone.

Have you tried performing a battery pull on your BlackBerry® smartphone to see if it will connect to your computer?
