I have a company owned Blackberry Curve 8530. I cannot open the mailbox to retrieve my messages.  I know I have messages becuase the message icon and the light is blinking but whenever I click on the mailbox to open it, all I see is a blue banner saying that i have no messages.  With the mailbox open, all I see above the box is SMS. At the very top is the battery indicator, then the time, unopened message count and the signal strength.  Please help as this is a company phone and I cannot be without a properly working phone for an extended period of time.  Thanks,  Greg Adams

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!

Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
