Cannot play media...

The error message I receive is as follows: "Cannot play media while Video Camera is active." How do I turn the Video Camera off so I can view my videos.

Hello yellow grizzlyand welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

 

Sorry to hear you're having an issue with your media files.

 

Remove your battery for 5 seconds then reinsert it. After the reboot, go to your Media folder and attempt to view a video.

 

Does the error reappear or are you able to view videos?

Thank you for your welcome and your advice worked perfectly.  Now that I can view my videos, how do I send them via gmail, instead of the Blackberry suggested options of Bluetooth and YouTube?

If the video file is too large, it will not have the option to Send Using>Email.

The file cannot exceed 6MB.

You can change your Video recording mode to MMS mode which is a smaller format to ensure you can email videos. Launch the Video Camera and go to Menu>Options and change the Video Quality to MMS.
