Cannot unhide my Blackberry folder

I had a virus on my computer that infected my Blackberry 9300 3G.  what it dit was hide all my folders on my smart card and just cloned the folder names.  I managed to get rid of the virus and also to unhide all the folders that it changed but I cannot do the same for my Blackberry folder and now my libraries do not work because of this.

When I go into the options for the Blackberry folder it shows the Hide option but I cannot untick it as it is greyd out.

How can I change this so I can use my blackberry with ease again????

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Adel

Re: Cannot unhide my Blackberry folder

Can you look at the folders within the Media Card > BlackBerry folders (such as Pictures) and unhide it?

Re: Cannot unhide my Blackberry folder

If I go into "Files" and then "Media Card" I have to first select "show hidden" then I see my blackberry folder.  When I then go into the folder I can find all my pictures and media files but everythime I take a picture or download a song I have to go this route as it does not automatically go through to the Media option on the phone...

Re: Cannot unhide my Blackberry folder

Once I go into the Media card I need to first say show hidden in order for me to go into the blackberry folder.  Once I have gone into the blackberry folder I can unhide the folders inside the folder and also view everything from there that is saved inside the blackberry folder

Re: Cannot unhide my Blackberry folder

Ok, so you can UNhide all the subfolders with in the Media card, just not the main folder?

Can you copy all of your pictures, music, etc., off of the media card to your PC, and then once that is done and the files are safe, Go to Options > Device > Storage > Media Card > press the Menu key > Format, and reformat the media card.

Re: Cannot unhide my Blackberry folder

Wow, I did not know Berrys could get a virus from computers! Could someone knowledgeable on this post some info? I am on a BES server, does that help protect me or should I invest in an app...

BlackBerrys are not succeseptible to virii, I don't even think this user here had any interaction from a virus on her computer. Hiding and unhiding folders is a simple process, and I really believe something else here happened.

But again, the Media Card uses the same file structure of a PC, unlike the BlackBerry device memory itself. So perhaps something automatically hid these folder, but regarless, it is easily fixed.

Re: Cannot unhide my Blackberry folder

Unfortunately I cannot access the Blackberry folder from my pc, it do not want to show in my list of folders even though I have selected to show hidden folders on my pc.  I have also tried to move the folders or files out of the blackberry folder but there is no option to do this

Re: Cannot unhide my Blackberry folder

Sorry also forgot to confirm, I can defenitely unhide the subfolders within the Blackberry folder, just not the blackberry folder.  It is the only folder I cannot unhide on the whole media card
