I have found several resources that state to reset your password via Security Options>General Settings>Change Password, however after selecting General Settings there is no Change Password Option. I'm running version v4.2.2.180.
The only way I have discovered to change your password is to go into General settings, change password from Enabled to Disable, Save changes and then go back in and change Password to Enabled again. Then you can set a new password.
Does anyone have a better solution?

Hi and welcome to the forums!
Your OS may not have the options listed in the order you mentioned.
MY curve runs 4.3 and I have the options you mentioned.
You are setting the password correctly.
If you need more information, please ask!
If not, please resolve the post using the options by the kudos’ star.

After you're in General Settings you're hitting your menu button right, and you don't see Change Password in the menu that appeears?
If there's a lock, there may be a policy in place on the device preventing you from changing the password

Hi,
I asked my coworker to to put a policy on the BES just for my account. I now have a LOCK symbol next to the Password (Enable/Disable) option. If I press the MENU key, I then have the option to change my password.
Thanks for your reply!

Do you wish to run a BES phone? Or BIS for personal use?
If our phone is a BES Corprate phone, you may have to abide by the IT policies applied.
If you are using the phone in BIS mode, have all policies removed.
