Contacts sync in 9320 Curve

I had backed up my phone in the OS6.

Now, I have bought a new BB curve 9320 with OS7 and restored my backup.

There is some issue with the contacts. I just dont seem to have all of them when I search in the address book.

BUT, if I dial a number ( which was earlier in my contact list ), the name appears in the call log.

Similar, for incoming calls, number only displays ( so I am not sure who is calling ), then in the call log - te name appears. REALLY WIERD.

2 of my email ids had wireless contacts sync on, which I switched off today. But, even then I cant find most of my address book.

Re: Contacts sync in 9320 Curve

First, both of you please check your Address Book > press the Menu key > Filters, and UNcheck any filters that might be checked.

Now, do you see more Contacts in your Address Book?

Also, look at your Options > Status screen.

Press the Menu key > Database Sizes.

Scroll down to Address Book.. does the number of entries (looks like 123/56k) appear as the correct total?
