Corrupt Contact

How do I delete a corrupt contact, no matter what I try, I cant get rid of a contact that has two(2) ++ sings one on top of each other before the name.

This may work:

When you get a chance, do a battery pull.  When the red light goes away on the front of the phone, hold down the back button the entire time while the phone is booting up.  When the boot is complete, the phone will enter safe mode.

Can you expand the plus signs?  not sure what that means.  Not sure if you can select the plus signs and delete them.  Please back up your data first using the desktop manager!
