Curve 8310 keeps hanging due to "Apps Error" and Outgoing Call Timer

1.  My smartphone 8310 shows "Apps Error" every few hours and needs a Reset. Does anyone have a solution for this?

2.  Does this phone have a timer which shows total time spent on OUTGOING calls?  I have found only a total call (incoming and outgoing) timer.
