Hi -
What do I do if "USB-PIN: UNKNOWN" is not an option in my dropdown? It's either nothing, or when I plug in my device, my pin.

Thanks for all the info on this thread but I'm still having no joy! My device manager recognises my bb but I still have the white screen. When I attempt to reload the os software using "update" it fails with a compent update required. When I attempt to install the update, that fails and I meet the end of the line! Arrrrggggh. Any help gladly appreciated.
Rhys
PS. I have just installed a new screen as i cracked my last. After installation I have the WSOD.

Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.
Does the device fully reboot now?

Hi, My Blackberry was dropped and the screen was damaged and stuck on the white screen. I have fitted a replacement screen which powered up OK but was still white. I have reloaded the operating system and got the message that the process was successful, however I still have the white screen. Could the drop have caused other damage e.g. hardware? Any ideas please.

Yes, it could have, or perhaps you didn't install the new screen correctly.
