Re: Curve 8520 stuck on a "white screen of death"

I have the 8520 BB. The phone locked up or froze up the same way. It's just a white screen with a clock and sayusreload software. No one at the local store or tech support could help me. So I ended up buying a 8900 BB. In the meantime, I came across this site and thought maybe I could fix it. Well, it worked like a charm. I was so surprised and happy! Well, now my 8900 BB is having issues abd I hace to send it back to Blackberry. I was hoping to use the 8520 BB, but now it's doiung the same thing as before. Except this time, I can't get it to "fix". Do you have any suggestions for me? I am open to anything at this point. Thank you.

Re: Curve 8520 stuck on a "white screen of death"

I am obviously not that smart on computers but I have a question. I downloaded the desk top software. I went to start but I have no idea where the "run" is on there. I am sure it is very simple to find, but I cannot so I cannot continue any further..Please help.

Type in the search bar Run and press enter. It SHOULD automatically come up a little box in the bottom left hand corner, if not i wouldnt have a clue.
