Curve 8520- will not allow me to get anywhere

Hi guys,

I have a serious problem with my Curve 8520. With optus in Australia and have had this phone for a year now. I've rebooted my cell as i normally do from time to time and a message that says - Application terminated: poynt has been denied the "cross application communication" permission- and an OK at the bottom. Although i cannot even click ok or get out of this screen that automatically pops up when ive tried rebooting it (taking out battery) several times. i cannot text/ call etc and i cannot recieve anything on my phone either.

If someone knows what to do, please let me know.

Thanks heaps,

Chrissy

Do you use Poynt? Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the app?

Re: Curve 8520- will not allow me to get anywhere

I would suggest doing a full backup of the phone using Desktop Manager then doing a security wipe.

KB18998 - Security Wipe

Once wiped, you should be able to uninstall Poynt and then do a selective retore of your data using Desktop Manager of only the information you really need
