Hi All!

I have just signed with 3 Australia for their bb network which comes with the Bold 9000...however I am thinking of getting the Curve 8900. Before I do that though, I'd like to make sure that:

1) The 3G sim will work in the Curve 8900 (I think this was answered in an earlier post, but I wasn't sure about #2)

2) BES/BIS would work as well

Basically, I'd love to simply substitute the Curve for the Bold on the same contract, but obviously without the 3G capabilities.

The 3 personnel were quite adamant that it would not work, but I have had bad experiences previously with their advice!

the 3g sim will work fine in the 8900 u just wont have 3g service sence the 8900 only has EDGE service and not 3g

I was making myself the same question, I know the 8900 works on EDGE but will the phone features (basically phone calls) works on the 3G?
