Curve 9300 Shutting down

Hello   My Blackberry Curve 9300 is shutting down when the battery is charged.  It can shut down at any time, and it is important for family contact reasons that my phone is available at all times.  I can only restart the phone when the battery charger is plugged into the phone.  It will not restart without it.  Should I be replacing the battery with a new one?   Thank you so much,

Welcome to the forums. 

 

The first test I would suggest would be to try a different battery. If that does not correct your issue then we can try to reload the software on the BlackBerry® smartphone to make sure it is running the latest version and there are no issues with the OS.

Once you have backed up your BlackBerry smartphone please follow the link below to complete a clean reload of the BlackBerry smartphone software.
