This problem is still occurring. I'm having trouble reproducing it "on demand" though. Some new info:
This morning, while the phone was in the holster from overnight, I tried calling it. The phone rang fine, but I was unable to answer since it won't respond to the answer button. Only the "hang up" button has any instant response.
After the call the "missed call" dialogue showed up, but the trackpad would not work. Thinking it was just lagging really badly, I held the hang up button and eventually the "phone will shutdown" popup came up, and the phone shut off. When I powered it back up, it seemed to work.
I've tried to reproduce this issue by locking the phone, calling it in and out of holster, but I cannot get the problem to reoccur. It really seems like it needs to sit overnight before I experience the issue. Tonight I will keep it out of holster and see if it still occurs tomorrow.
I enabled the application monitor and battery tracking yesterday, but usage seems normal and nothing odd came up. The low battery mode is enabled but should not kick in until the charge is less than 20%, which it is not.

Ok. At Options > Device > Application Management > top of screen enable Third Party applications.

I have found that using the return key rather than the track ball appears to have cured the problem at least for the moment. It was as if the track ball was not working initially Or at least frozen.
The problem has not occurred now for at least 24 hours so hoping that it is cured
really appreciate the help tthough cheers ![]()

I don't see a "3rd party applications" option, so i chose "Optional" instead.
It shows:
Have installed some of those yesterday (after the problem was observed) but I can remove any of them to isolate the problem.
