Hi,
I'm new to the blackberry world! I just got the Curve 9360 and used to have a notification bar under the time and date. It displayed any notifications (text, bbm, email, facebook etc..) also a search bar, and the volume button. not sure how I did this but it's gone, can anyone help? how do I re-add this bar. It's a pain having to go into all the menus to see where the notification are and changing the volume etc...
THANKS!
Lisa

OK, understood.
I don't know of a way this could have been hidden.
At the top of left, under the battery icon, do you see the Profiles icon, it looks like a sound speaker?

Will you do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.
After rebooted, let me know what you see on your homescreen?
If it remains the same with this notification bar missing, could you please post a screenshot here?
Directions to that are here: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Community-F

This can happen if you have used a 3rd party theme (due to a problem with the theme). Try changing back to the Blackberry default theme:
To change this setting, at the Home Page, type theme > select Options > Screen Display > scroll down and activate the Blackberry theme.
Note: You may need to reboot the smartphone after setting this so that all icons get refreshed properly. To reboot the smartphone, hold down Alt + Right Shift + Del.
