Curve 9380 Blackberry infrastructure router authentication

Hi guys n gals,

I'm trying with my carrier to figure out why my device will not connect to BIS via wifi.  My question please from the wifi diagnostic page under 'Blackberry Infrastructure' there is a green tick in the check box next to 'connecting'

That is as far as it goes - 'authenticating router' stays as an amber dash.  Please can you advise exactly what this step is authenticating?  Is it authenticating the outbound router my device is connected to or is it verifying a router somewhere between here and RIM?

My carrier tells me that

Thanks guys,

Ric

Re: Curve 9380 Blackberry infrastructure router authentication

Thanks for looking but I just got an email today from my carrier - seems they don't include the access over wifi service book in their plans (though they don't advertise that) so now looks like I have to fight with them for a solution or cancellation of my contract.

Cheers

Ric
