Dead BB (WHITE SCREEN)

Hi Please help.

 

I have a Curve 8900 which has a white screen of Death.

 

I have moved it passed the connecting disconnecting stage and I have installed OS5.

 

 The desktop  shows this as the installed OS..

 

The white screen remains and the handset is unresponsive.

 

The screen lightens and darkens on connection and I have tried dialing a number and the handset does not respond.

 

Other options?

Sorry to hear your BlackBerry® Curve™ 8900 smartphone is having an issue with the screen.

 

If you have already done the software installation as shown in KB11320 or KB19915 and the issue persists then it is possible this is hardware related.

 

You will need to contact your point of sale or mobile carrier for further investigation.
