Delete issue FROM Laptop to PHONE

I have a customer that has the BB Curve 8300. He has it setup so when he deletes an email FROM the BB it will also delete in his Outlook on Laptop.  How then can he have this setup when he deletes FROM the Laptop the messages will be deleted on the BB Curve?

Deleting mails from Laptop will not deleted mails from your Handheld.

Thanks for the answer.  Now I an being told from some of the IT persons that Outlook should be able to sync the two devices.  These persons are more or less saying there is something not setup correctly on the BB Curve.  I don't buy that, I think there is something that is not correct with the Exchange Server.

Thanks, I think.  Anyway I found in the BES that there is a setting that needs to be set to TRUE and then reboot the BES to have this work.  It's located in the Properties of the Exchange Server, under Messaging.  Currently it's set to FALSE.  I will change that Monday night and this should work.  So I guess I asked again because I did not think I was asking the question correctly.  So it would appear that tanzi was not correct when he said this could not be done.  I do appreciate that you took the time to chime in with your comment, albeit not necessary.

IIRC this should be possible on BES.  It's unlikely but not impossible on BIS.

Tanzim is right, the email on the BB is considerd "deliverd" and no email server will be allowd to delete it..

 

Make sure you let us know how it goes, Albeit, we know the answer.

After looking into the BES some more this is what I found and what I'm trying to accomplish:

 

Hard Delete Reconciliation:

   Set to True to turn on message hard-delete support.  Set to False to turn it off.  When this feature is enabled, messages that are hard-   deleted from the desktop email program are deleted from the BlackBerry device.  You must restart the BlackBerry Enterprise Server for the changes to take effect.

 

This is what the BES is telling me.  Currently I have it set to False.  Are you saying this will not work?

To all the naysayer's out there that said this could not be done.....IT DOES! 

 

Made the change to the BES, rebooted server, sent message to email address, shows up on desktop email program and BB Curve. I deleted the message from desktop email program(Outlook), and presstoo-changoo, it magically disappears from the BB Curve!

Now can you help me do the same thing with BIS (using MS exchange server)... or is that not possible?
