I have stupidly deleted my icon for Facebook on my Blackberry 8520. The app is still loaded, how can I get my icon back? Please answer in simple terms, I'm a granny!

Welcome to the Support Forums.
Are you certain that you deleted it? You might have accidentally hidden it.
1. On your homescreen, press the Menu key > SHOW ALL, so that SHOW ALL is checked.
2. Look in EACH folder on your device... Applications, Instant Messengers, Downloads, etc.
If you still don't see it, look at Options > Advanced > Applications. Do you see it listed there?
If that doesn't work, please post back.
1. If any post helps you please click the below the post(s) that helped you.
2. Please resolve your thread by marking the post "Solution?" which solved it for you!
3. Install free BlackBerry Protect today for backups of contacts and data.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I have looked everywhere and it's not there. I had already read one of your repliesto someone else and checked if it's hidden but it's not.
It's also not listed where you suggested under advanced options.
I didn't want to get sms updates from all the Facebook posts so i pressed "delete" on the Fb icon. thinking it would delete the app but it obviously deleted the icon instead. i am such a dufus!

Ok, I don't know what all you've previously done, you didn't say. Giving complete details always helps speed up the process, right?
1. Help me here know what model of BlackBerry you have, the model number found at Options > About, top line?
Please also edit your Profile on this forum to include that information so that it appears under your name in your posts, look to the left of my posts, at mine, and you will what I mean.
2. So it is not installed, you need to reinstall Facebook for BlackBerry.
Use your BlackBerry browser to navigate to www.blackberry.com/facebook and click to download it (there will be a link to AppWorld, but avoid that one and download it direct.
Once downloaded and installed, log back in and you'll be good to go.
