Desktop manager

I've just loaded my blackberry user tools disc on my laptop. Now its asking for my devise password, however its not excepting my password. Has it set it back to the factory settings?

Please use plain text.

NO, there is no default or reset password. The password is ONLY what you have set.

What is common among users, at least daily here someone has the same problem as you.

IF you "think" you have numerals or uppercase characters in your password, when you enter the password from your BlackBerry device, and it is not accepted from using a full keyboard on your PC to open Desktop Manager, it usually means you have some confusion on the numbers.

For example, if you think your password is "1234", it is probably "1ers" because you only depressed the ALT key for the first character. Make sense?

So, try the alternate alpha character where you have a second or third numeral.
