If you have a media card you can enable mass storage on the device and transfer them using my computer on your PC (mass storage turns the media card in the BlackBerry to a removable disk, like a USB thumb drive). Alternately you can use the media manager that comes with the BlackBerry Desktop Software.
If you have a Mac, turn on mass storage mode on the device and it will turn it into a removable disk.
If you are not prompted to turn on mass storage mode when you connect the device, then go to options, media card and set "enable mass storage mode when connected" to yes. This may be under options, advanced options, media card, depending on your device.

Another way. ( I wish I could take credit for it..) I got it from the BB forum, since I was having difficulties with the Roxio Media program, and it works!
When you hook up USB Cable to computer, and you turn on the mass storage, it creates a disk (Go to Computer and you will see your various drives. Click on the one named BlackBerry. This opens the drive with all your photos (from your Device). Then, open a new folder where you keep your photos on your computer. All you have to do is drag and drop to the folder,or vice versa and "voila" it is done!
Let me know if this works

I think it can also be done by taking photo from device memory and drag and drop to your Computor file. as I mentioned . If there is no Memory card.
As far as the cost , I have a 1Gig, and I think it was around $30-40. Can't remember.
And lastly, on the Curve, you must open the back cover, remove the battery, and you should see a metal apparatus (small) under where the battery was. If you lift it up, and insert the media card, replace the metal arm to its original position, put the battery back in its place, close the cover, and you should be able to work with the Media card.
Or, you could go to you Carrier Retail store, and they have techs there that could do it for you.

The pictures on my media card are encrypted. When I try to view with Explorer or Media Manager, I can't see them because the format is not recognized. Do you know of way to convert these files?

If the Media card is encrypted, I think you could go to Options> media card.>Encrytion Mode highlight and select "none" >menu >save.
Try to drag and drop.
