E-mails showing up in both Messages and my e-mail account folders. How to elimate this issue?

New to Blackberry from Motorola Q. Is there a way to have my emails  delivered to just my e-mail folder instead of e-mail and messages?  . Also, is there a way to seperate missed calls from the other messages.Thanks.

ALL email will go to the main Messages folder. You should hide the email specific folders and ignore them. Scroll to the icon, and press Menu (the key left of the trackball) > Hide. Then Press Menu again and make sure SHOW ALL is UNchecked.

To remove the Missed Calls from your Messages, press the green dial key to go to your Call Log > Menu >  Options > Call Logging = NONE.

I created a folder on my homescreen and put all the icon I don't use into it. That's where I put the message icon and only leave my email icons on the homescreen.
