Email - Manual Send & Receive??

Just changed phones from MotoQ to Blackberry Curve 8330 and I don't always like my email to download automatically.  Is there some way to manual send and receive like in MS Outlook instead of it just happening manually?  Thanks

Re: Email - Manual Send & Receive??

Hi and welcome to the forums,

As far as outbound, you can save the message as a draft and then send when you like.

Inbound is preset. The only way would be to go to  OPTIONS - MOBILE NETWORK -DATA SERVICES and turn it off.

This will stop emails, and unfortunaley the browser as well.

If not, please ask for anymore information!

Thanks!

Re: Email - Manual Send & Receive??

Will disabling the data services also stop all incoming text messages too?

Thanks for all your help.
