I just posted a similar question on a new thread then I found this. Your suggestion to run the diagnostic test solved my problem immediately (on a Blackberry Storm 9530). After it ran, I read over the report then I looked in my setup folder and there was my "email settings" icon in my set up folder.
THANK YOU!!!

Hey,
I just got my BB Pearl 8130 and I'm also trying to set up my e-mail, and when I go to the Set up option for email - it doesnt give me the option to add, or create my own, it only asks if I want to use a work e-mail with a blackberry enterprise server. My BBM is also not working so I feel completely lost.
Could someone explain how to fix this in easy terms? I dont understand most techical mumbo jumbo but am good at following detailed instructions..... ![]()
THANKS!

Tanzim's solution worked for me:
"If the Email Settings icon is missing that call your carrier to now whether they've provisioned your BIS in your number. Alternatively you can try by re-registering from Host Routing Table. To do so go to Options -> Advanced Options -> Host Routing Table."
