I have AOL and everytime I get mail on my Blackberry, it is not saved on my AOL. Is there some way to set it up so that my mail is still on AOL?

Hi and welcome to the forums,
This is the options to setup on your PC:
For the Blackberry:
You have to go to your BIS account and uncheck Synchronize deleted items between this mailbox and my device.
If you turn this off, you will have the emails go to both your PC and your BB. If you delete it from the Blackberry it will still be on your PC.
If you do not know your carriers BIS site, send me the carriers name and I will send you the link.
For AOL
Login to your AOL account, check the option leave copy of messages on server.
Thanks

I was sent a link to the blackberryforum site and it did say that back in May there was a collaboration with hotmail and bb to change the way hotmail sends its mail,, but I haven't seen where they have changed it yet..... He was with AT&T and said they were supposed to fix the problem on their end on September 24, but it hasn't been fixed yet. I hope they get it done soon.... It's a pain in the ass..... But I have started using the T button to go to the top of my messages.... then using the up arrow key at the bottom of the BB to mark all the messages and then deleting them......

HI,
When you delete the emails on the BB or on the PC, you are only affecting deletes on your inbox on your account.
When email is sent to your email address, they go to all instances of that address. Once your PC or BB receives the email, it can't be
manipulated, it's considered received by your account.
Example, If I send you an email, then decide I want to cancel it, I can't remove it from your device.
This holds true for BIS accounts, networked BES accounts that connect to servers are different.
Thanks,
