Hi and welcome to the forums!
Did your email account function correctly and now has the problem or had it not worked correctly at all?
Which provider is the account with?
What type of email account is it POP3 or IMAP?
Thanks,

Hi! Thanks for your help! I have been reading alot and now I need the help! I have always had the same email that worked correctly, I had US Cellular (midwest company) with a Curve for 1 year with no issues, switched to Sprint, and had everything work for 3 months and then the problem started. My email is a POP3 (its a company email). This does not occur with my yahoo account that I also have coming to the bb.
I did check the "save a copy of the message on the server" button -- and it seems to have helped my BB, but now all of my emails are in my outlook inbox in duplicate (but not the device). Do you know how to fix that? (if its not one thing, its another!!!)
THANKS!

You changed the option on the device, on the PC?
Do you use MS exchange for a mail server and Outlook on your desktop?
As this is a cororate phone do you know if your are setup as BES ?
I know it's a lot of questions, but there could be a lot of reasons! (see attached) ![]()

that is either a forwarding rule going wrong or its redownloading for no reason.... that sounds like a server issue... contactc the IT for the server

HI,
I can't get the article into a link but I have reprinted it for you,
Pleas make sure you let us what type of mail you are using
MSExcahnge, with Outlook, Lotus notes, Novel Groupwise, etc.
Thanks,

You are receiving duplicate email messages in your BlackBerry Internet Service account. This could indicate that you have both a forwarding rule enabled in Outlook and the Outlook account integrated with the BlackBerry Internet Service account.
In this case, delete the forwarding rule in Outlook.
Outlook 2000 and 2002 Users
Outlook 2003 Users
Outlook Express Users
For more information on receiving duplicate email messages in your BlackBerry Internet Service account, see KB13528.

I changed the option in outlook on the PC to save a copy on the server.
I have asked my boss the answer to the other questions, and am awaiting the response. We don't have Microsoft exchange server, if that helps at all.....
I appologize on the delay, all the questions were things I thought I needed my boss' help with, and he has not really been available (vacationing, riding his harley, the usual).. ![]()

No problem on the delay. I see you have the "standard issue" boss.
Always there, except when you really need him to be!
Just let us know!

I have been asking for the answers for WEEKS now. I can't find any forwarding rule in outlook under "rules and alerts" - and I use this area, so I am familiar with the section. I only am getting the duplicates in the actual inbox on outlook, for my work email. My yahoo inbox (personal email, also on BB) is unaffected.
Oy, I have asked my boss again in a PLEADING email that copied his partner to tell me what kind of email we have. Hopefully we will get an answer! ARGH!!!!
