Try a battery pull (hard reset) as your first step.

No data will be lost when doing the following: pull the battery while the device is ON.
Replace after a minute, Let the device reboot 1-3 min, see if the problem is fixed.

Re: Error

Hello!

My fault I should have explained better.

The sentence below contains a link to an article describing how to check the device for software version information. We do this by habit to save space and to keep things tidy.

KB23393   < This blue number is the article number and the actual lnk. Click on it and it opens the article in a new window. This sentence is the subject of the link >How to  check the model number and version of installed BlackBerry device software on a BlackBerry Smartphone<

Thanks for remining me that I need to stay basic and descriptive new users

Kudos to you!

Here us what the article looks like:

Follow these steps to determine which version of BlackBerry® Device Software is installed on your smartphone:

On BlackBerry® 6

  1. Open the Options application on your device (sometimes this is within a folder called Settings).
  2. Select Device
  3. Select About Device Versions from the list.
  4. The BlackBerry model number will be on the first line
  5. The BlackBerry Device Software version will be the first set of numbers on the third line.

In this example, the model of the BlackBerry Smartphone is a BlackBerry 9650 and the version number shown is v6.0.0.431, which means this device is running BlackBerry 6.0.

On BlackBerry® Device Software 4.2 to 5.0

  1. Open the Options application on your device (sometimes this is within a folder called Settings).
  2. Select About from the list.
  3. The BlackBerry model number will be on the first line
  4. The Device Software version will be the first set of numbers on the third line.

In this example, the model of the BlackBerry Smartphone is a BlackBerry 8320 and the version number shown is v4.5.0.37, which means this device is running BlackBerry device software 4.5.
