The track oad on my Blackberry Curve 9360 was stuck so I rebooted my phone several times. But when even that didn't work, I switched it on in Safe Mode.

I was wondering for how long could I use it in Safe Mode? Because it's working perfectly fine now and there are no issues but only because it's in Safe Mode. 

For how long can I use it in that mode?

Please let me know as soon as possible!

Safe Mode will work until you restart your device. If your trackpad is working fine on safe mode it means problem is not with your trackpad but may be because of any Installed third party applications.

I prefer as you are on safe mode do a Backup of your device using BlackBerry Desktop Software then delete all third party applications or the most recent one after which you think problem started .See if your trackpad works

If that fails then the next option is to  perform a Clean Reload of your device Software, for that follow this Knowledge Base :

After reloading your device software do a selective restore i;e restore only your Contacts and calander entries ,don't restore any application from the backup files . Run your device for a day  then install only BlackBerry Native application one by one,It will allow you to know which application is responsible for the problem.

I just  BBM 7 a while back and my voice chat had stopped working. But it just started working 2 days back, could it be because of that?

                  I don't think BBM version 7 can affect our device trackpad , it might be because of any other installed application like Theme, wallpaper or any other.But if you think its happen because of BBM7 then try re-installing BlackBerry Messenger for your device and see if that help .

You have to investigate if any third party application that you have on your device is if responsible , try removing those or you have to consider the suggestion on #2 .

I tried removing third party applications, it still won't work.

I don't know what to do now.
