Is it locked or can you view the latest called screen by pressing the far left button at bottom.
You could call the last couple of people on the screen, tell them you found the phone and could they please contact the owner in another way. Give them your contact info.
Or, at the top of the screen is a mobile provider name, call them and give them the PIN and IMEI of the device, they should be able to let the owner know it was found... the IMEI and PIN can be found at Options > Device > Status, or on the white sticker underneath the battery.
