Freezing

Getting really stressed.  My fone keeps freezing.  Has been doing it for ages.  My phone isn't even a year old yet.  Any suggestions.

Yes, many suggestions.

 

1. Close all open applications running in the background. Press the Menu key about two seconds to enable the App Switcher screen and select each icon to open, then Menu > Exit or Close. Do not use the end call key to close apps, it normally will only leave the application running in the background. Five icons will always show in the App Switcher (browser, phone, home, messages and BBM). Make sure the browser is NOT on an active webpage.

2. Options > Security > Memory Cleaner. Disable that.

3. Check the File Free at Options > Status, what is the number at File Free?
Now, leaving the device powered ON, remove the battery of your device, hold a minute, replace and reboot. What is the File Free now?
