Gmail email Curve 8520

Since this morning I have not received most of my emails without pulling the battery to reset.  I have resent service books, deleted and reinstalled email amongst other things found on Internet.  Would be grateful for any help. The odd one has got through but most haven't. It has worked fine for over a year so not sure what is going on - has anyone else had similar problems? Thanks for any help.

This is odd.  Other people have been reporting this recently.  Something is going on...  Let me ask around.

I've heard that there was an outage but I can't find the email I had on this!

It does seem OK today so maybe it was an outage rather than anything I did!  Thanks for help.
