Groups in the Address Book

Hello, I am a first time blackberry user. I have only had the 8330 Blackberry Curve for only a few days. I had only one phone before this one.

So, my question is this... setting up my contacts in the address book and I than setup a group for certian clients. I saw that the contact is kept in the main list of the Address even if the name is in a certian group.

Will that name remain in both places? I would like be able to delete the duplicate and keep the name in the group.

Thanks before hand for your help

John

Re: Groups in the Address Book

It should only be in there once.

Your group is composed of contacts from within the address book. it will be in both places, in the main address book, and as member of the 'group'.

Re: Groups in the Address Book

John, welc:smileyhappy:me to the F:smileyhappy:rums!

Just wanted to say that you are goin to love your blackberry!

I have always added to address book then created the group and just selected name, thus they were in both places.  I know Jsanders already answered the question, but I get excited seeing new bb users here and want you to feel welcome and enjoy that blackberry!
