HAS MY BLACKBERRY DIED?

Hi, please help! I noticed my BB had run out of disk space so I performed a battery pull to wipe out the clutter.

 

When I turned it back on it took forever to load. And when it finally did I received this error message:

 

Uncaught exception: Application net_rim_bb_phone_app (170) is not responding; process terminated

 

It now has a forever spinning hourglass and I can't perform ANY actions with my phone. What do I do? It won't even allow me to back-up to my computer??? HELPPPP!!!

Usually if resetting it doesn't work you'll have to reload the OS onto your device.

 

So if you both already have the Desktop Manager installed, download the handheld software from here: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

 

Afterwards try reloading the OS in one of 2 ways:

 

  1. http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB03485
  2. http://blackberryfaq.net/index.php/How_do_I_wipe_the_BlackBerry_using_Jl_Cmder%3F
