HELP!! Bluetooth connection error

Ive just bought the blackberry curve 8900 and my bluetooth wont let me connect to any other phones (tried the LG Prada and Nokia N96). It lets me send media files but wont let me recieve any.

Each time i try to connect to another device it connects and instantly says 'connection terminated'.

PLEASE HELP!

Re: HELP!! Bluetooth connection error

Hi, I am also new to BB & had the same problem, but solved it in 30 mins.

The thing is, with BB you can send easily to another blutooth device.

But when it comes to receiving, you have to ask for it ie you have to put your BB in receive mode (this is apart from starting your BB bluetooth & pairing with other device).

Go to "MEDIA" & press menu button. Look for an option called "RECEIVE USING BLUETHOOTH". Only when this option is started, then the other person should start sending his data.

It worked for me - I received clips, snaps, music clips from Nokia, sony erric etc.
