This question has prolly been answered on here somewhere, but I can't find it.
I have the 8330 and I want to start the modem WITHOUT having to use VZAM. Verizon wont tell me how. See I got the blackberry cus its one of the only phones Verizon has that can use Windows 7 (which I have on this comp) I have an Imago I use for my XP and I can start the modem then on my comp I can dial my dial-up service provider and not use all the data from Verizon. I can't get DSL or cable or anything but dial up where I live. And yes I do pay for the Modem /Data service from Verizon and my dial up carrier. (nothing illegal )
I went over my data plan by 100 dollars last month, therefore I added the dial up service to save me big time. ( I already have the Max plan on Verizon) I got this blackberry off eBay (surprising very nice shape and clean esn,,thank you God) but no disk came with it. Verizon told me all I needed was VZAM which was swift, but I can't get the modem to respond when I try to dial out to my dial up service provider. Any help would be appreciated. (and I'm a blond, plz make it simple..lol)
