Re: Help! I think I deleted my alarm icon!

I am having the same problem.  I think it happened when I was organizing my icons into folders.  I moved all the icons in one folder and moved to another.  So then I tried to delete the "empty" folder but it wouldn't let me....at first.  However when I went to use my BB later all the icons were gone!  I can't even find a "backdoor" to themes or anything for that matter.  I tried removing the battery but still no changes.  I don't know if the original author of this post resolved it, but now I would like further suggestions.   Thanks

Re: Help! I think I deleted my alarm icon!

Hi and welcome to the forums!

From the main screen press menu key twice.

Do you show options on the menu that says show all? If so make sure you check it and see if the icons return.

Go to the two folders you created and press menu is you have show all as an option check it and look for

the icons.

As previously posted you can't just delete the icons so they are there.

Let us know what you find,

Thanks,

Re: Help! I think I deleted my alarm icon!

Hi, thanks for replying.  Unfortunately, whether I press menu once or twice, it doesn't pull anything up at all.  There is nothing but my wallpaper (no icons at all and again, pressing menu doesn't do a thing).  Ever since I took the battery out my BB keeps resetting itself. Prior to reset I get an error message "App Error 523".  But when it comes back on still no improvement.  Should I just reinstall the software?  Thanks

Re: Help! I think I deleted my alarm icon!

Hi,

Please open a new thread,

Your resolution will be different from the originators.

Go to the top of the page, and on the grey bar to the left select new message.

More users will see the thread, meaning more input and a faster reslution,

Make sure you are specific in what is wrong and what you have done so

far.

I'll see you at the new thread, OK?

Thanks

Re: Help! I think I deleted my alarm icon!

Ok I started a new thread. I ended up resolving the app error 523, but still have no icons.

Thanks  Jim
