Help!! Trackpad wont go up / down when checking messages!!

My trackpad wont go up and down when checking messages like text and whatsapp, but it functions normally when not checking messages....like it can go up and down in menu and internet page, can anyone tell me how to fix it? thanksssssss!!

Sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with your trackpad.

 

To clarify, it only seems to stop scrolling up or down when you are in the Messages folder and in WhatsApp? On the main home screen you are able to navigate up and down?

 

Have you done a reboot yet by removing the battery?

 

Try performing a Self Diagnostic test, as outlined in KB16037 Using the Self Test application on the BlackBerry smartphone to test the trackpad response. 

 

Let me know the results of the test.
